Hi Max,
It's hard to say what went wrong, however
You appear to have a buildup of filament between the heat block and the heatsink
AS indicated by the red arrows above.
This may result from a poorly fitted nozzle or a Blob of doom
this is likely to cause heat from the heater block, passing into the cooler heatsink, which could cause heating difficulties and poor printing
Your extruder should be set up like this... and definitely no plastic between the heat block and the finned heat sink

The white powder is normal for ASA. But as Joan indicates, the buildup between heater block and heat sink is not.
Formerly known on this forum as @fuchsr -- until all hell broke loose with the forum software...
