Strange patterns on first layer, blobs generation

Hello,

I am printing with mk3s+ for a few years now and I am very happy with it. I never had an issue I could not understand or fix but I am now facing a strange issue with last prints...

On first layer, I see kind of stripes like if too much material was added sometimes (just a feeling):

It causes small blobs generation on the extruder, ending on poor final result.

I am priniting prusament PETG with default settings. I tried with a textured and a satin sheet with same results. I replaced the nozzle (0.4) by a new one to be sure. I cleaned all axes and greased them...

I find it strange that the patterns are aligned but not with X or Y axis.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Oli

Your first layer Z calibration is a tiny bit too low.

- and the fine stringing suggests your PETG is damp.

I will try increasing the z calibration a little.

Not sure about humidity: I was using a EIBOS 3D Filament Dryer CYCLOPES (was running for hours), so the filament should be dry...

Thanks
