Silver PLA that Ships with Mk3
I love the silver PLA Filament that ships with the Mk3 Printer and have been told that the PLA on the PRUSA website is not the same.
Does anyone know where I can buy more of this silver PLA as it prints with amazing quality!

well I did just order a silver from the website, I will find out when I get home. I will tell you if its the same. I really hope it is.

wow well it isn't the silver.. I am disappointed. maybe it will act the same. I will let you know. forsure it doesn't have the cool texture as the one that came with the printer forsure it isn't FLM-PLA-175-SLV Silver PLA filament 1kg - Diameter : 1,75 mm

here is both filaments on the same print bottom is (FLM-PLA-175-SLV) Silver PLA filament from the store and top is the roll that comes with the printer. the flash really makes it show. but its not too bad. but even Pickard feels the facepalm

I was told a few weeks ago they are close to putting it on the Eshop (the one that ships with the printer) but the silver they sell now isn't too bad at all.

If it is not prusament (just regular prusa PLA or PETG) they rebrand this filament and you can buy it (and prusa orange) here:

The silver PLA that Prusa ships with printers is Plasty Mladeč Filament 1.75 PLA 1kg Silver.

No. I sold it all. However it’s not that expensive to order 2 rolls direct from prusa. Any more or less and the price per roll is negatively affected.

Ya the shipping is still prohibitive. I like it but not that much. I'd rather have Prusament at that point. Thanks for replying.

Filament PM not only has a US warehouse (unfortunately, shipping prices are really bad) but have started selling through Amazon. I found the silver roll on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/Czech-Made-Metallic-Printing-Filament-PM/dp/B081XMZSYR for what seems to be a premium price of $26.90/kilo (as of 2020-01-20), but shipping is free. It isn't Amazon Prime, so the free shipping also applies if you don't have a Prime account. I'm not sure of the shipping time though...

Thats actually the same Per roll price direct from Prusa if you order 2 rolls. (~$52 shipped. Half is 26 per roll.)
Prusament is also cheaper to buy direct from prusa if you order 2 rolls.
$26 isnt bad if it’s the filament you like. Esun and hatchbox are often $22. 50 gram tchotchke or whatever only cost another 20 cents to print.

Yup. I noticed it’s the same price shipped when I was about to order some. So I passed. I’ll just order some Prusament direct from Prusa with a couple spare parts I wanted.
I wonder if they would cut me a deal on shipping because they need to send me warranty replacement rods and bearings for my month old MK3S already. I’ll ask when I deal with that this week.
