Re: Feels like they are behind schedule ?

I'm thinking of cancel my order.....
Customer support only reefers to the simple estimated calender they posted a couple a weeks ago and they just don't mention anything about the reality ?

Are they allot delayed? I hoped for getting my kit before the end of this year but thats impossible I'm afraid .......

Does the sheet shows that they are on track or allot behind ? I can't tell...?!

As far as we can tell, they are keeping up with the schedule they posted.

Re: Ship Date Tracking Spreadsheet

Not sure how that conclusion is reached, there seems to be a correlation between order day and packing day, a tiny amount of crossover but if they haven't finished the 27th (and based on the spreadsheet entries they haven't), there is nothing entered today (yet), they have 4 or 5 days worth of packing to do and 2 days left to do it (assuming they aren't packing now) if they are to be on track since the 1st Oct orders need to be out the door by Tuesday next.

It does depend on how many orders in a day and the 28th appears pretty light but we don't have all the orders.

And no I'm not whining before the apologists feel obliged to step in - I've gone past caring, any excitement or even interest I may have had has long since left the building.

Re: Ship Date Tracking Spreadsheet

Because at the top of the shipping schedule it says "The dates are only an estimation and rely on the actual production [...] be aware that it can shift up to one extra week for the lead time."

Yeh it said that for the MMU too ... look where that ended up.

But like I said I'm past caring, I look out of interest but I'm no longer expecting mine this year.

Re: Ship Date Tracking Spreadsheet

For those that have received their MK3 printers in the United States, what has been the delivery times once shipped?

Mine took about a week. Label on Monday, shipped Tuesday, stuck in Koeln for 3 days, arrived here the following Tuesday.

Debated whether or not to post this and risk drawing out the die hard fan boys but then though what the hell 😀
Maybe i've got a different work ethic? Personally I'd have made use of that day by satisfying some more of the long awaited pre-orders in the hopes of exciting more loyal customers by having their machines in time for Christmas. The time for parties is when the mental task of fulfilling all the backlog is complete.

Happy to have contributed towards your success Josef, just don't forget the customers eh 😉

What happened to the Spreadsheet? There are Huge holes in it. My order in Week 43 isn't even there anymore.

looks like there's a filter in place currently, not sure about the reason for that though

My printer just left Germany. I am assuming it is on a plane to the USA. I have a Dec 18th delivery so we will see how that goes. So far it has been moving fast and no massive snow storms to slow it down.

Not sure what you're talking about. Just checked back to Dec 5th and don't see any sudden loss of rows. I checked every day, and we've only gained orders. All the way back to Dec 5th I don't see your entry in Week 43 at all. If there was any loss of data it was a long time ago. I've been managing the charts since Day 1 and I don't remember the order count ever going down. Not saying it didn't happen, but if we did lose any orders it was only one or two here and there likely due to accidental vandalism. I try to undo all the accidental vandalism I've seen but I don't recall any rows being accidentally deleted. It's more likely someone replaced your name with their own out of laziness or due to Google Sheets bugging out. I likely wouldn't have caught that kind of vandalism as the username wasn't gibberish, and it didn't impact the stats any.

I just double checked, and the filter isn't hiding any orders, though maybe it was earlier. Not sure who added it, but it can be useful for sorting and such. As long as everyone remembers to put things back how they go after... Ctrl+Z, Ctrl+Z, Ctrl+Z...

I added my week 43 order yesterday but I right clicked the row ID and inserted a row. I'm sorry if I inadvertently deleted your entry.

"The time for parties is when the mental task of fulfilling all the backlog is complete."

That's what i was thinking. There are a lot of people (me included) that are hoping to have the kit on 23.12.
I was hoping to have the time to build it then. (i have to work again starting 27th..)
i orderd on 29.sep. -> shiping starting from 13.dez. in my logic before 18.dez when the next batch for orders from 2.okt should start.

If it was my company i would party hard ... in january - when the biggest part of Backorder is done. And not before Christmas when everybody is hoping for theri toys.
At least i wouldn't post this. Waiting people will be pissed

Why do you ask?

Mine shall arrive coming Tuesday! Talk with chat friendly - that would be my suggestion.
It all can happen very fast then;-)

Good luck!

My company has their Holiday party in January for that reason and because it is cheaper to book party rooms.

Re: Ship Date Tracking Spreadsheet

My Printer has made it to Kentucky. There is a cool app that lets you track UPS planes and I guessed it was on the plane from Koeln to Kentucky and I was right. Once it got to Germany I looked at the flights to the USA and Kentucky looked like the hub it was going to. A few hours after landing I got an update it was in Kentucky. Now if it doesn't marry its cousin and start a meth lab it should be on its way to California where it can be a free range 3D printer printing organic tofu filament. I think it may get pushed back one day but so far estimated delivery is Monday. WooHoo

Re: Ship Date Tracking Spreadsheet

Just gonna point out that the filtering option at the top of the spreadsheet is really annoying. Whenever someone uses it, the entire spreadsheet becomes unusable because someone makes it all hidden.
I noticed this when I saw only 4 entrees on the spreadsheet and saw that they were all the same country.
