Just this minute received UPS shipping confirmation for my Mk3 kit!

Scheduled delivery: 18/05/2018, which is exactly 8 weeks to the day I placed the order, week 12 on 23/03/2018

Sort of glad it's not next day because I still have to clear enough space for it 🙂

Another one then, my order ends with 6604... your 7... ??

7448, that must be quite infuriating seeing shipping confirmation posts from people who ordered after you.

Unless you specified something out of the ordinary I don't understand how mine could be shipped before yours.

What did you order? I went for the orange kit with no extras, not even getting their fancy powder coated PEI heatbed.

With the exception of a few inexplicable one-off shipping of black units, you will see that the backlog for black extends back to week 8. different people have gotten different responses from Chat support regarding this, but it's pretty clear that they are holding off printing black components in favor of the standard orange. The last conversation I had with them had the black units to start moving next week.

Am I the only one who has considered putting in one or two fake order entries for May showing completely bogus shipping/tracking dates? 😈

I figured everyone is on-edge enough as it is and decided against it, but the wait is making me want something...anything...to happen to stave off the anxiety/boredom.

Week 10 Order - black kit ... changed from powder coated to PEI sheet (in early april)--- still no delivery date...... that sucks

Week 12 - 21 March - orange kit with a bunch of filament included. Just received notification earlier today of delivery to the UK on Friday.

This was pretty much as per expectation, with around a 2 week delay which was explained for illness amongst staff. Happy with this, looking forward to getting to grow with it over the weekend.

I'm a week 8 black kit expectant father! this is worse than waiting for my daughter to be born so many years ago.
It really bothers me that there are people posting on the spreadsheet of orders being shipped from weeks 9,10, 11, and newer.
I ordered the kit with no extras and chose not to wait for the powder coated sheet, but all chat can ever tell me is that its in the queue!
Now its not like I'm without a printer, I have a couple of the inexpensive chinese printers and get by with that but its like driving a Yugo compared to a Ferrari!
I haven't bugged chat since last week and will probably hold off till Friday...no ship notice then its time to cancel!

Well, Tony, you can feel a LITTLE better. My WEEK SEVEN kit still hasn't shipped. Chat said it's now 'in the shipping queue' last week when I IM'd intending to cancel. Black. Filament too, which they insist can't hold up an order.

I'm so tired of this.

My MK3 kit ordered 31Jan Week 5 (and 4 filament reels) shipped on 10May and arrived today 16May.... 1 day earlier than originally expected...thanks UPS!
Build will start on the weekend 😀

Just wondering if anyone who's had an assembled printer shipped into USA can comment on whether they had to pay customs/import fees (I assume so), and if so how they paid the fees, and how much that delayed the delivery ?

Mine's expected to ship soon (ish), so just wanting to get ahead of any possible issues with import fees

If your total order cost is under $800 (if you ordered the kit and nothing else), then there are no US import costs. Above that, there will be a cost, but I do not know the rate schedule - you can call UPS for an estimate.

Yeah, I was impatient, so ordered the fully assembled printer ($1000 + shipping), so it'll be over that $800 limit. I think it's only about 3% fee in US, and not sure if that's just for the amount above $800, or full amount, but either way it's not much. I'm just more interested in how to make the payment, and how much it delayed the shipment/delivery

You should be able to create a UPS MyChoice account, then enter your tracking number(s) to watch. You can enter payment info and I believe set it to automatically get billed. At the very least you can get notifications for pending tariffs.

My order is week 13, black... Wondering if I should have them change it to orange if black parts are going to cause further delays. Not like I can't print any other color parts at a later date.

I ordered mine assembled and it arrived without paying anything extra.

Thanks, good suggestion. Even if I don't end up needing to pay import duty, I'll set that up.

Strange...No one is updating the spreadsheet today. Even those who posted on the forum with deliveries. Did I not get a memo somewhere?
