Week 46 order has still not shipped. That's 9 weeks behind their posted shipping schedule. Four+ months and waiting.
Weekly queries to on-line chat for the last three weeks have resulted in "likely ship today or tomorrow". I'm not convinced the on-line chat folks have access to reliable info ...
Some things with my order that may have caused delays, which others might want to avoid:
* I ordered some extra extruders with my order. It might be that ordering extra stuff with your printer causes delays.
* I (stupidly) asked to delay shipment by one week. We were away and it looked like the printer would ship during that time. I didn't want the printer sitting on our doorstep. I also wanted others in line to get their printer earlier.
* I ordered black printed parts. Maybe orange is more common and readily available??
Lessons (if I were ordering now, I would ...): Don't order additional items with your printer, get the standard colors, and **don't alter the requested delivery schedule**.

Finally some progress on my order. Shipping label has just been created.
Orange kit ordered on Jan 8th (week2) without extra's.
To bad it wasn't yesterday as that way i would have it before the weekend, but then again a monday expected delivery (mits its leaves Prusa today) is also welcome 🙂

I just got tracking information for black kit week 2.
Jim I ordered my black kit in week 2 also. I'm sure there's a mistake and that machine is coming to me. Surely they'll notify you of the mix up. 😆

After waiting 64 days I would be happy to see the backorder status disappear!
I am week 2 as well. Atthis point I'm not holding my breath for Tomorrow... it will probably not happen until Monday.
I get a kick out of the estimated shipping for new orders that says End of April.... yeah right! You folks ordering now better expect an 8 week lag time at best!
Edited... Actually its 67 days not 64 but who is counting?

Agreed; I got a 'label created' message on Monday expecting dispatch Tuesday / Wednesday (i.e. judging by other timelines on the spreadsheet). Spend nearly 2 hours in chat yesterday with nothing more than 'It'll probably ship tomorrow'. Now, late Thursday and a different chat person who says the delay was due to the additional (2x) filaments added to the order not being available, DESPITE them showing as 'In Stock' in the web shop........If I'd known this I'd have ordered the filament separately and probably now have my printer. so now the estimate is for dispatch tomorrow (Friday) and delivery mid next week. For info., mine's a black kit but there's been no mention (this week) that this has been the cause of delay since the 'label created' message. I did have a delay on the black kit about 2 weeks ago. It's a Week 1 order, to UK.

Andy - According to "Pavel" on the Chat interface, my delay is caused by my #3 guess: Back printed parts are delayed.
I have two additional suggestions for folks ordering:
* I seem to get more reliable information from using the "Add a Message" system on the Order History page of your order (versus the Chat interface). I did receive a direct email from a Customer Support person when I posted my question as a message on my order. This might be the same thing as sending an email to [email protected], but I'm not positive.
* Adding my name to the Ship Date Tracking Spreadsheet may have helped. Although this seems far-fetched to me, I started getting more detailed responses to my queries within 12 hours of adding a row on the [Orders] tab.
"Aww that was easy, you just 3D printed it!"
I can't wait for the first person who says this about one of my printed flutes ...

They removed the ETA on the powder coated sheets! Since I had let them know to ship when the sheets were ready I chatted. She told me that they probably wouldn't be shipping with powder coated sheets until May and even then no promises. I am so hyped I just cant wait anymore so I told them to remove the hold on my printer and I will just get one separately when they are available!

Thanks, Clint, all helpful. I know the 'chat' guys are mega-busy but it's annoying to get such different 'definitive' answers about these shipping / dispatch questions. Yesterday I was believing they were actually speaking to the shipping department for an answer but on a different day / different guy the picture's different. I don't mind bad news as long as it's true!
My understanding about the black-printed parts is that there was a delay but now caught-up; it appears not, according to Pavel! It seems crazy to me to change status to 'label printed' (and UPS triggered for the shipment) if the kit is still awaiting parts, and of course the process creates a Customer expectation which then isn't met, leading to (in my case) multiple contacts via chat to find out what's happening. Prusa should understand that if the Customer's disappointed BEFORE delivery of the product, due to poor or misleading information, it's not a good start.

Also don't forget to check the ups site with the tracking number when you get it. I today got the order being packed email and on my order page can find my tracking number. The funny thing here is that the Prusa website still says order being packed for me, but when i click my tracking number and go to the UPs site then i can see that they already collected my printer and are now moving it in the UPS network (export scan). So i should have it Monday here in the Netherlands as UPS doesn't deliver on Saturdays here.
The lesson here is that if i only would have looked on the Prusa site in the my order tab, i would still think my printer it with them and not collected yet, so don't forget to check for yourselves. 😉

Yes, good information; I was told in chat today that Prusa's order status only gets updated 'overnight' so if a shipment is collected at (say) 4pm Prusa time, the status on the order page is only updated the next morning, while UPS will update their tracking sooner.

I have been stuck on packing for most of the week. I'm guessing one of my special requests is delaying me. My tracking still hasn't updated and still is just shipping label created.

Just chatted with support and there is a delay so January 18:th orders (which mine is) will start shipping in 2 weeks not tomorrow as per the schedule.
Was really looking forward to getting my printer but I understand that they are not delaying it without reason so I will just have to wait 2 more weeks.

As expected my kit arrived today. The box contents are all in order, so assembly will start in a few minutes. I'm curious to see how long i will take to build the kit.
The printed parts look nice in my opinion, definitely not as bad as some people point them out to be. So 2 possibilities, 1: the quality is indeed better or 2: my standards are lower 😆 Also did a quick magnet test on the rods, they seem to be the correct hardened ones, so tats good. The finish of the metal plates is insanely beautiful.
If there are any questions from people who want to know anything regarding the most recent shipments (like what revision parts that are shipped) you only need to ask.

I tried putting my tracking # date in, but I entered 2018-03-26 and it said it wasn't in a valid format.

I had the same issue. I ended up dragging the date from the adjacent cell and then it allowed me to select the date from a drop down list.

Jason, just double click on the cell and a calendar will appear and select the date. Don't manually enter it in.
My order finally progressed to packing and I got my tracking number!!! Can;t tell you what a good feeling it was to see that yellow status!! Hehe!
I ordered on January 14th. it has been 71 days since I placed my order and the Original Estimated ship date was March 1st.
Some basic stats for people who are further down the chain and still waiting impatiently. Hang in there folks!

Support just told me it was delayed another 20 WORKING days. that would be around April 20th.
Update:
Just spoke to Shane, who confirmed there are no delays, don't know what the other rep was looking at.

Really? I just spoke to someone on chat and said there were no delays on the current shipment dates. I asked specifically if a printer ordered during week 4 would ship sometime this week and they assured me it would.

Zach,
Did you order anything else with your printer? If so, and unless you chose a split shipment, they will wait until everything is available before shipping. Sometimes the weakest link is not the printer.

Nothing else, just the printer itself. Figured anything else would slow it down so wanted to wait.
