I’m surprised how little black orders there are. Why do you guys mostly order orange? Is it because its Prusa's “original” color way?

Im pleased with the Choice i made to go with black....fint know why most People order orange?!

whos the lucky devil that ordered in december and got a shipping label in jan? or was that a mistake that iv not seen mentioned?

I saw that one too! Must have been a typo, or the buyer drove down from Germany and got it in person?

If it is the one I'm thinking of, yes they did. Also it was a bunch of printers for a school or something.

Did not care what color it was, was going to print the parts in my color anyways and keep the orange parts as spare parts.

I went with Black because I prefer my tech in black, but one of the main reasons I would think that people prefer the orange is that is shows off the fact that the printer is made of 3D printed parts by making them stand out.

Honestly the color orange wouldn't really clash where I am since my college's colors are Maroon and Orange (Virginia Tech). which is those colors for the same reasons I mentioned earlier...

Tracking hasn't changed and is still on the departure scan from Germany.... really hope I get an update soon from UPS...

If you didn't know the plastic bits were 3d printed you'd never tell unless you really got up close. The quality of the printed parts is actually really good.

I went with orange because it's my favorite color.

did anyone notice there is a delay in shipping? mine should have shipped on january 22, now it says february 5 on the webshop?

@Seeyah the update came out a week ago (Jan 14). I've been involved in product introductions all my life and projected ship dates are always best guesses not taking into account the unforeseen. The unforeseen often occurs when relying on vendors to live up to their delivery dates or possibly the time to correct product design flaws that become apparent as production ramps up.

I was planning on ordering black but forgot to change and did not notice until I had completed the order.

Wonder why the time-stamp is so late. this event happened hours ago and I just now get the notification.
So much for the 4-5 day shipping time.
Really need to get it set up before my courseload picks up, which is literally in three days. (19 credit hours!)

Just looking at the Spreadsheet - looks like someone has seriously sodded it up. Line 332 and below have lost a load of info (colour, bed, country data) all vanished. Can it be rolled back easily or do all orders below this need to re-enter their data?

I looked at the google sheet around three times a day prior to my printer shipping, now that it's shipped I think I may have looked at it twice...

I buy bike parts from EU all of the time and for me it's always a nightmare when stuff passes through DE, especially with DHL.

Something because it can be maddening, my printer supposedly just left DE so I need to be careful not to jinx myself. That being said I've had stuff hang there for over a week for no apparent reason.
