It's a serious downer having a tracking number since the 12/21 and still no printer and no response from support. I'd just like to know if it's still with Prusa or if the problem is on the UPS end since the tracking has said it's in clearance since 12/21. I'm hoping it's still in Prusa's hands and will be shipped with hardened linear rods.
I'm in the same boat. I think I also got my tracking on 12/21.
Chat said yesterday that it would ship out this week.

So am I reading correctly that shipping is on hold now? If so is it the rods or the power supply or something else? I'm curious to know but don't want to take up chat's time with questions they've been asked a hundred times already today. Though, a simple post here by an employee might prevent 90% of the chat questions...

My better half made me reconsider canceling my order last night. I spoke to chat about issues and any delays and they said that there are currently zero shipping delays. My restored order from 10/28 will go out the door on the 22nd, the absolute latest.

I really don't think so. My kit, despatched yesterday, is crossing Germany at the mo. Prusa order history says its still being packed!

Yeah, I kind of understand though... I'm hoping to be a bit consumed with the printer once it arrives. Though will certainly update when I get shipping information.

This is standard for this kind of product launch spreadsheet/statistics tracking. It is one of the reasons we keep yelling at people who use the spreadsheet to draw the conclusion that PR is behind on shipping. ^_^

Well that makes me hopeful....mine still says "on backorder" on my order page, but I have a tracking number since Dec 20th that still only says the label was created. I'm worried my choice of black parts is making mine take longer.

Yeah, I wish they had a "whatever is fastest" option. The printer could be hot pink for all I care, it's a tool not a fashion statement, at least that's my perspective.

Before i ordered mine yesterday i asked the chat if there was any difference in shipping time for the orange and black versions. And was told that the orange is usually a little faster in beging shipped. As there are more orange parts being printed by the farm then black. That being said, i assume that the orange version is also ordered more, so could be that this evens out in the big picture.
This did however decide for me to just go with the orange and not choose the black one. 😛

I was one who got tracking on 12/21, but nothing since (and have participated some in the chatter here during the holiday). I've gotten busy with other things since it didn't arrive during the holiday and was only checking in a cursory manner anymore at this point. I was pleasantly surprised to be looking at my tracking app related to some Amazon orders and saw a pickup scan. Looks like mine is on the way.
I'm a 10/4 order.

And just after I wrote the update, I get this from UPS:
"01/09/2018 10:20 P.M.
Your package may be delayed. We are adjusting delivery plans as quickly as possible."
Not sure what that means - if anything. Probably a UPS thing.

Too many boxes coming out of the Prusa factory- the UPS trucks are breaking down enroute.
