Searching for generic brand with same UV profile as Prusa Orange (PETG)
There are oranges and then there is prusa orange. The UV signature of this orange is dayglow. Has anyone found another orange that has the same orange day glow as Prusa Orange? I use a lot of prusa orange PETG. Ordering it from Prussia rolls up my costs - from around $15-20 a spool to $38 per roll for prusa orange PETG (factoring in shipping). Small business constantly strives for cost shaving ...

I think the Filastruder Veracity orange PETG to be an exact match. I use it on a master spool, but I'm sure the pre-spooled stuff would be the same color. Filastruder Veracity is made by KVP, so their orange is likely to be the same color.
Filastruder / KVP

Interesting... Like Dan, I'd love to see a cheaper source of Prusament Orange, given how fast I go through spools of it.
So I went to the Veracity PETG page, and the orange color looks nothing like Prusament orange, much more reddish. Of course I understand that colors on a screen mean nothing, so can anyone else confirm the colors match?
Price comparison:
2 spools of Prusament Orange PETG including the 10% Prusa owner discount is $53.93, plus $15.03 shipping, for a total of $69.01.
2 spools of Filastruder Veracity Orange PETG is $55.98, plus $11.66 shipping, for a total of $67.64.
So it's a whopping $1.50 savings...
At this point, I'll probably go with Prusa, eat the $1.50, and for that have certainty that the colors match.

Check out FilamentPM.com
They are the distributor of filament made in the Chek Republic. They import it from there. The distribution office is in VA.
They also make it for PRUSA.

I did.
Prusa Orange PETG not available right now.
Price:
2 spools of PETG $52.34, plus $23.15 shipping (no kidding, that's the lowest option), for a total of $75.49.
I'll pass.

Yeah. I could not find any filastruder filament ... just the usual re-spooling your old waste. I wish the market had 10m sample rolls as a thing. It gets very hard to use a lot of orange that "aint it" with 2 kg samples.
