Prusa MK3S.

Ok guys. I’ve been 3D printing for 3 weeks now. I’ve always wanted to get into it. Finally did and bought an Ender 3 Pro. I’ve been looking at Prusa printers and man do they look nice. I really want to support them and purchase a nice printer. While my Ender has been putting out great prints I constantly have to tinker with bed leveling and settings.

So convince me. Is the MK3S worth it? Free shipping makes it really attractive. Or do I need to do a bunch of tinkering with it as well? If you could do it again what printer would you end up buying?

Well i did as you.. I got me for my first printer the geeetech A20M dual color printer. After about 30 days of tinkering and adjusting cussing and getting some good prints off of it it is now just sitting in the floor collecting dust as the hotend went out. At that time i got me the mk3s with the mmu upgrade on it now as well. Would buy the prusa again hands down... Support is ontop and they stand behind what they sell..

Only one that can convince you is yourself.

MK3S is a solid printer. I love mine, and if I had it to do over again - I would still get it.

It is not a toaster oven. All printers require some TLC. Just not as much as an Ender 3.

A Prusa MK3S requires plenty of tinkering it self.  Once tinkered, it usually works well enough until it needs tinkering again.  Change firmware, and you are back to square one.  In my experience...
