Prusa Mask alternative Shield

After seeing the Prusa 3D printed mask I wanted to make one, but could not get the plastic for the shield.

So I came up with this. I do not claim it is compliant to any standard,  It's a better than nothing solution

And yes the camera adds 10 lbs......

Good idea! I think also that it's better than nothing 👍

We can go way beyond a face mask and do a full PAPR

Just finished testing in hospital and uploaded...

It's not that your face shield isn't appreciated, but we need much higher level PPE at this point. When we do aerosolizing procedures we need filtration or isolation from suspended micro-droplets. Typically a CAPR, PAPR, or N95 + face shield are used. We're almost out of CAPRs and PAPR's. N95's are in such short supply that we have to reuse them after brainstorming how to sterilize something that isn't meant for multiple use.

A buildable PAPR is high level protection and in super short supply. Yes, we can 3d print the PAPR Halo and produce a high level PPE.

I'm in the hospital doing aerosolizing procedures and we just don't have enough equipment supply to protect ourselves adequately.
