Finally they have listened and appear to be making things right for the early adopters. Lets see how this rolls on.

I personally like the non-smooth bottom. It helps me glue pieces together, I do not have to roughen them up first. 🙂

That is true. I just got V3 of the eBay powder coated. V2 is different the the Prusa PC. V3 is very similar.

Have you printed any large parts with the V3 yet? I've had one for a few weeks now and am happy with smaller prints but with larger prints my first layer thickness is all over the place. I have some issues with the Prusa PEI sheet but on the V3 it's dramatic.

I have the V3 as well. What I do is use the thickest first layer possible that I can get away with. Seems to work nice.

Is your first layer thickness uniform across the bed? In my case I'll get what I can only guess to be high and low areas of powder coating as the first layer is squished too much in some areas and very high in others. Prints look nice with it and it performs well but it leaves me wondering if I'm just too picky or if there's something that can be done to rectify it.
