Powder coated vs PEI sheets and spare sheets

Being I will be waiting for my MK3 and watching youtube reviews etc on the MK3... I was wondering if there is anything else I should add to my order while I have time to do it? Like the spring steel sheets. Should I order some spares and add some to my order? Any other parts I should consider to add to my order as I am in the US and it would be a great time to do this to save time and shipping in the future. What would be a list of goodies to add to my order?
Thanks,
dave

Hi Dave,
i don't think you can order spring steel sheets at the moment...

spare PEI sheet, 99% IPA, Pure Acetone, plain paper towels or paper coffee filters, for bed cleaning
perhaps windex, for preventing PETG and TPU sticking too well! I use talc, or forehead grease... ( forehead grease seems to always be available!)
,thermistors, fans, heater, pinda, different size nozzles, spare ptfe liners for extruder spare zip ties.
extra filament, vernier caliper,
and hair restoration cream... Lol.

are a good place to start

regards Joan

Thanks Joan for the help with the recommended spare parts list. I will see about getting some of the ones I can only get from Prusa added to my second order (MMU shipping later). Now I have to go look up "pinda". 😳 Is it the autolevel sensor? (Prusa INDuction Autoleveling)

The PEI sheets are cheap relative to shipping cost. Therefore, you might want to get some extra's. Last week I ordered some just to have them on hand. Cheap insurance.

My kit came with a 100 zip ties, so I doubt you'll need extra of those.... They are a particular size, though, so it's not a bad idea if you order the pre-assembled printer.
