Re: Powder-coated sheets vouchers?
I've been critical of Prusa in some of my post, but they are a class act:
Also, we will stop selling new printers with powder-coated sheets until this situation is resolved
They are taking care of they're customers who have been waiting for powder coated sheets, won't sell printers with powder coated sheets until previous customers taken care off.... Even though I'm critical I still day one order new products because of actions like above... Now Im more hopefully for resin printer, even if growing pains.
As of today the powder-coated sheet is still an option when you purchase a printer, wonder when they will stop making it as an option. I am assuming if you purchase a printer while it's still listed as a choice they have to send it with in the 3-4 weeks they list.

While I appreciate Prusa finally decided on prioritizing their customers who are waiting for ages for their promised and payed PC sheets, I wish, they've taken that route from the beginning instead of shipping thousands of new orders with PC sheets during the last couple of months. They would be in a much better situation now by doing so.
That fact, that the powder-coated sheet is still an option on the shop 5 days after Joseph's blog post is a real bummer. Is Prusa staff not reading what their boss is blogging?
Was this "official email" sent only to the first batch of customers eligible for a voucher? I haven't got one but frankly had ordered my MK 3 sometimes in January so I'm unlikely within the first batch.
Re: Powder-coated sheets vouchers?
I didn’t get one either. Mine was ordered 12/14/2018....

They have 17,000 orders to fill with PC Text sheet, I'm sure some will not get the PC Text sheet so lets say 15,000.
So you got some time before they get to 2018 orders. I ordered my on 10-21-2018 and have not received an email yet.

I have an issue with dates.. I originally ordered a MK2S on the 12th Sept, the day before they announced the MK3..
Prusa took a while to decided what they were going to do so via Chat I was advised to buy a Mk3, which I did on the 25th Sept...
But then they decided to upgrade MK2S orders to MK3 but took almost a month to sort it, so the day I paid for my MK3 upgrade was 30th Oct.
I believe they use the 30th Oct as my date of purchase, so I am far from the top of the list for this.. I suspect I won't get mine until next year...
Re: Powder-coated sheets vouchers?

Sorry, I meant 2017!
Re: Powder-coated sheets vouchers?
My guess is that it will take months to get to the Dec/Jan orders. From what I can see they haven't even made it through the first week of pre-orders yet.
Re: Powder-coated sheets vouchers?
yet there asking for a reply by the 11 11 2018 lol
Re: Powder-coated sheets vouchers?
It might be helpful if they had a timeline and or volume of powder coated sheet vouchers that are pending.

I believe thats coming.. Atleast thats how I interpreted this comment
"We will also update our shipping table, so you can see the current processing/shipping times for powder-coated sheets".
This is the link, but there is no sign of any info yet:

The was an update to the "Autumn Update" today:
"UPDATE Nov 6th, 2018: We have decided that we will stop selling new printers/printer kits/upgrade kits with powder-coated sheets on Saturday, November 10th, 12 a.m. PST (midnight from Saturday to Sunday)"

Is that a permanent change or just for now?

I'm speculating, because nothing was officially stated, but I'd imagine it's temporary until they clear the back log.

As it should have been from day 1

I agree 100% but I'm happy that they finally listened.

Agreed, better late than never, though it feels like never at this point.
Re: Powder-coated sheets vouchers?
Something I haven't seen mentioned in a long time is the powder coated glossy sheets. Any word on if those are still going to happen? I assume they have been scrapped but I don't recall seeing anything official.

It was official, in one of the updates they did say that they scrapped the powder coated glossy sheets. Do not remember if it was for time being and or it was scrapped for good.
