PINDA probe mount turning white
Hi,
My Prusa i3 mk3s+ has been printing like a champ. However, sometimes I notice I need to adjust my Z offset slightly because sometimes I notice my printer is printing too high. I have read about drooping PINDA probes, and I wonder if I have that problem. I inspected my probe, and I notice the PETG is starting to turn white.
Is this normal or should I replace it? I could print replacement parts in ABS, would that help? I have heard that you have to scale ABS parts to account to shrinkage, is 101% a good number to scale the parts by?

Looks like dust to me. How often are you having to adjust your live Z? I've printed probably an equivalent of 15-20 rolls of filament since I built the printer in or around June. The only time I've had to adjust my live Z was when I installed the MMU upgrade.

I've got the same thing happening on mine too. Pretty much all around the print head. It reminiscent of "superglue" fogging on plastic. Although it wipes off easily.
Not at all sure what's causing outside of a reaction from the heated plastic.

Seems like regular accumulation. You can also try to clean it with a paper towel and some isopropyl alcohol.
