PETG problem
Hi!
Having issues printing PETG lately on my Mk3s 0,4 nozzle. It gets all lumpy, the print is somewhat okay except for all the lumps I have to scrape off.
This is brand new prusament PETG carmine red sliced with prusaslicer and prusament settings. Whats wrong?

Did you clean your hotend between rolls? I have had an issue with mixing filaments and partial jams when switching rolls.

Lower temperature 5 or 10 C for the nozzle.(see box filament for temps).
Wen printing, you could try to lower the extrusion multiplier, with 0.3.
And test if this helps.

Can't tell from the photo, but are there only 1 blob for every z height or are there multiple?
Print a simple cylinder and set Print Settings > Seam Position > Aligned. If all the blobs line up when the issues is something to do with retraction, unretraction or layer change.
If you live somewhere humid, drying your filament will also improve stringiness and blobiness.

Hi, sorry for my late reply.
I tried to print another model, same filament and settings. And it came out perfect. So maybe the first model is better with PLA. That one had some details and I ran it in a slower speed. The next print was also with slower speed but maybe it wasn't so sensitive about that because it was not as detailed.

I have always said to master PLA before moving to PETG. When you move to a new filament, dial the in the temps before printing a worthwhile model.
