PEI/Powder coated Steel sheet with Z first layer and Filament Profiles

Would it be possible to add Profiles within the Firmware or PrusaSlicer?

Once you have set the first layer calibration for each filament with each sheet you could save the specific values so next time you print you can just select the profile you want,  just like you have to select the filament when inserted into the extruder.

I think this would be better than having to go through the Z calibration every time you want to change the filament and sheet.

Cheers,
Mike

The ability to maintain different Live-Z settings for multiple print sheets has been added recently, yes. It is per-sheet and not per-filament only, but it's easy enough to raise or lower Z slightly after swapping sheets.

There is space for several sheet settings in the firmware (8 I think?). Nothing to say that one couldn't use them for different filament types on the same sheet surface as well. Unless one actually has enough print-beds to warrant all those sheet settings.

I suspect you might @bobstro 😉, but I don't know @mike-mk3s's inventory of print sheets.
