nozzles getting clogged, what can i do?

hey hey, i have my mk3s+ since 2 years now.

it printed fine until now.

the nozzle seems to be somehow clogged and the filament is not coming out in a regular way.

i changed the nozzle and inserted a new one, after that, the next print was fine, but in the print after that, the same problem occurred.

i am using a silk filament from eryone.

does anyone has an idea?

Things to check: Extruder gears including grub screw, idler door and tension, PTFE tube inside the extruder (see: https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/how-to-replace-a-hotend-ptfe-tube-mk3s-mk3s-mk2-5s-mmu2s_21664 )

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

Have your printed that very same filament in the past successfully with your settings and problems started suddenly now or did those problems appear together with this new filament? Silk filaments can be as far as I know a bit more challenging regarding clogging.

If you experience a clogg, you usually do not have to change the nozzle, usually a successful cold pull (or in severe cases a few subsequential cold pulls) should usually clear a clogged nozzle.

Mk3s MMU2s, Voron 0.1, Voron 2.4

thx for your hints. i disassembled the hotend and was able to remove a filament part after the ptfe tube.

i accidentially spilled coffee over some of my filaments. could be one reason.

the silk filament seems to also be very gluey. could be another reason.

haaaappppppy to print again 🙂
