Nozzle won't heat up.

I set preheat for PLA.

<Multimeter Test Bed Voltage Fine>

Bed temparature goes up OK, but Nozzle part won't heated up, not at all.

<Multimeter Test For Hotend, No voltage>

I dont see any burn or scorched on einsyboard.

So, changing the board is only way to fix it? or is there any other way that I can do about?

RE: Nozzle won't heat up.

disconnect the heater, and check the resistance of the heater element

this diagram was created to show the problems of using the wrong heater with the wrong power supply, but they also show the relevant resistances for 12 volt printers and 24 volt printers
the mk3 is a 24 volt printer. so the heater resistance should be in the region of 14 ohms

this needs to be checked with the plug disconnected.

If the test meter shows overload, or out of range when you test at the plug,
try sliding the insulating sleeves back by the heater cartridge, and test to the heater wires

A common problem, is the wires between the heater and the einsy, fracturing due to work hardening and metal fatigue, through continuous flexing.

another less common issue, is the connector on the einsy / heater cable, overheating due to poor continuity. replacement can be bought and fitted with care... make sure you buy from a reputable company, cheap connectors have a poor reputation.

Hi, I tried what you recommend. I use 24v 40w heater cartridge, when I plug them to another MK3s-I got 5 of them, it works great.

When I test meter the amphere, it shows no change but zero.

I think I need buy new einsyboard.

Thank you for your kindness.

Before buying a new board, do yourself a favor and check the fuses. There are separate fuses for the extruder heater and the bed heater (and a third for the motors).

A new fuse is quite a bit cheaper than a new board.
