My Mk3 is great so far
I built the kit in about 3 -4 hours using the EXCELLENT instruction manual. I have to say, the printed parts are some of the finest 3d printing I have ever seen, even from $100k+ FDM machines made by Stratasys. Really excellent quality found on every part in the kit....no exaggeration. First prints have been some of the best quality 3d prints I have ever made. I modeled and printed some simple boxes to test dimensional accuracy......1 inch cube. The print dimensions were all within 0.001" of 1 inch. No adjustments other than the standard auto calibration routines and settings provided in Slic3r Prusa Edition. I am so impressed.
I am sure I will bump into some things that make me frustrated, but so far this mk3 is such an excellent piece of equipment that i think I will be a Prusa fan for some time to come. I am looking forward to the MMU and whatever else Josef and his crew have going.
It is very clear to me that Prusa Research is trying very hard on ALL fronts to make and sell an exceptional product, and from what I am seeing they are succeeding very well.
Keep going Prusa! Your doing great!

p.s. - there is one complaint....I requested a Josef Prusa autograph, but, alas, there is no autograph to be found on my printer.. I am a little disappointed, but hopefully I can get that rectified some how!

3-4 hours to build the kit? You must have been flying through it! I think I spent closer to 14, including the required Haribo snack breaks!

I couldn't agree more. It took me about 8-9 hours to build mine. I received it on May 1st, built it the next day, and it has been literally running NON-STOP ever since. I have done HUNDREDS of prints with it...some were over 30 hours. I have only turned it off 3 times. It is putting out perfect prints. The first time and every time. I absolutely LOVE this printer.
