moved to germany

I have a i3 mk3s that i got in the states. I have moved to Germany and was wondering if i am able to plug it into the wall and start printing again or do i need a transformer. I see the values on the side of the PSU and rated for the German power but also dont want to harm the internals. If not what would be my best option of getting it going again.

I would contact on-line chat - they know the difference between in the power supply sold in US and EU. You will get a quick answer that way.

Have a look at my models on Printables.com 😉

Look around your PSU to see if there is a 110/220V switch. If not, then make sure that it is an auto-mode power supply before plugging it in. If in doubt, contact prusa support.

Statt zu klagen, dass wir nicht alles haben, was wir wollen, sollten wir lieber dankbar sein, dass wir nicht alles bekommen, was wir verdienen.

I have a lot of experience bringing my printed to hotspots around the globe.  Mine worked fine.  Each time I contact support to make sure I understand the correct steps to change voltage.  The mini should be fine.  Others may need a switch flipped.  I have never brought an MK3 with me.

The i3 Mk3/Mk3S power supply is auto-switching, so you should be fine no matter where you travel, as long as you have the right input cord. In fact this is typical in most modern power supplies, from your cell phone charger to your laptop computer.
