MK3S+ to MK3.9S Upgrade worth it?
I currently have a MK4S and MK3S+, both run well. I'll probably buy an assembled Core One by summer.
I've read on here that one of the best cost/benefit options is to upgrade the MK3S+ to MK3.9S. The question I have is, generally, is it worth the money?
As stated, the 3S+ runs well, just obviously slow. Whatever I do, by July I'll have 3 working printers.
Would I gain enough by upgrading to make a difference, or should I just let the 3S+ trudge along doing the small things I ask of it?

If your MK3S+ is already reliable and meets your daily needs, the performance boost might not justify the cost and the effort involved in the upgrade.If you’re chasing the top-tier print quality and faster production, and you’re comfortable with a DIY upgrade process, the MK3.9S upgrade could be worthwhile.

I've held off because of cost. You can get "other printers" (we know what they are) for little more than the cost of the upgrade that pretty much fill most needs. But that said, I've other printers and I do find none of them do petg, cpe or flex as well as the 7 year old prusa can. Some of it is just software tho - I find the PETG profiles for other printers extremely poor, but Prusaslicer seems to have the best profiles from most manufacturers for everything you could want, and that might be a lot of it.
TBH I'd nearly settle for the 3.5S upgrade and get an enclosure for ABS and nylon. But instead I just bought the Core One kit because thats everything you could want from the upgrade path for the MK3s+ AND an enclosure and far cheaper.
