1 month of lead time turned into 3 months for me. If i had known this, i wouldnt have ordered. Shipping tables not getting updated for over a week also sucks, what is the use for such a table if you dont update it? Mine has been "now shipping" for 2 weeks and still nothing.

These guys are far less efficient than I gave them credit for. Ordered my very first prusa i3 mk3 orange kit March 3 week 9. Haven't heard from them in ages until I saw this forum and read week 10 have already been receiving confirmations. I went to chat and a rep told me I should have gotten a PO for the shipping cost. Told them i haven't received anything and that my order have been in backorder for the longest time. He instructed me to paypal the shipping cost and that an update should come tomorrow. Not a good start 🙁

Yes, no shipping cost. The confirmation receipt says paid $749. Shipping cost DHL is $0. I really didn't mind since I knew they will ask for shipping at some point. What bothered me is I only found out when I asked. If not I could have been waiting forever for nothing. Also the shipping table information is several days obsolete. I have a very bad feeling about this. Like I said, not a good first impression. Very long backorder (more than 2 months now), Inaccurate Shipping Information, Poor Communication, So far so disappointed and I don't even have a printer yet 🙁

Watching this has been interesting to say the least. Still having the feeling of being burned by Robo3d i decided to go with a prusa hearing good things about them. Ordered 3/9 assembled orange i am in Week 10. on march 26 i send them a message that if the powder coated is not available when week 10 comes up to ship with the PEI. The reply.
I have changed the note in your order and we will ship with textured sheet if ready but with smooth one if not
So now week 10 is shipping and i message to ask about it since it is dragging on. The reply.
I would like to tell you that i have seen that your order has the double sided textured powder coated spring steel sheet (TXT) and this (TXT) is not ready yet so the order will be delayed till it will be released and it will still take 1 month to be released. We are now shipping orders with PEI sheet only. You can always change to PEI sheet to make it faster in shipping.
So now explaining i contacted them over a month ago about the powder coated sheets i await a reply. The more i see the more i wonder. Did i make a mistake.

So much for the 'new packing and shipping system' - it doesn't seem to have made any difference, the shipping information table is once again out of date - they should now be shipping (or starting to ship) week 14 orders, but weeks 12, 13 and 14 are all still unshipped.
I wonder why they don't bother informing their customers ? Updating the shipping table would be a start, the least they can do is be honest about all this, or maybe they don't give a **** about their customers ? I kind of get the idea that this is the case, it was surprising to me that when the delivery dates were changed, and then changed again, and then again (and now even these new dates are not being honoured) that Prusa didn't even bother sending out an email to inform their customers, it was left to customers wondering where their purchases where to search around the Prusa website to find out information.

I replied to their email and am leaving a message on my order for good measure. I plan to watch the shipping table and if it does go to week 12 shipping and mine didn't ship they can ship me a refund.

Mine is finally shipped. So there is hope for those out there and still waiting.
Ordered at 9-2-2018 and hopefully delivered at 8-5-2018.
So i took 3 months to produce/deliver it.
Let's hope the printer is as good as they say.

How is that some buyers already have tracking information of their kits when they ordered a few days after me?
This is so unreal.
The fact that they delay the shipments every time they update the shipping table is pretty sad. Things are getting worse not better...
And now they dont even ship according to order date? Crazy...

I challenge the management to finally be up front, honest and transparent about the state of the orders before their reputation is lost as well as a lot of buisness due to refunds.

Challenges like this fall on deaf ears. The only effective means for change is to disrupt income. I imagine things would change quickly if request for refunds spike and new orders flat-line.

I ordered on 07.03.2018 a black kit i3 mk3 (powder coated) with a role of black filament but changed the order to PEI sheet because of further delays. I contacted the support 2 weeks ago and changed the powder coated sheet to PEI. They estimated the shipping date about 10 days later (personal estimation in the chat). After 10 days i contacted the support again...no further information. Thats frustating that there are no real information and the shipping table is out of date ...
BUT
i contacted the support @ 0.15 in the night... and they answered fast. Thats awesome! *thumbs up*

Chat have told me my week 14 order (shown on the shipping schedule as starting to ship on the 7th of May) will ship on the 18th of May . . "plus some days" . . . but to be honest after having talked to them for a while, and seeing their evasive attitude in person, I can't say I really trust this date at all.
New customers buying from Prusa will look at the shipping schedule and get a knowingly false shipping date, for example Prusa know weeks 12, 13 and 14 are not going to be shipped on the dates show, but are not changing the shipping schedule to reflect the delays they already know are going to happen . . . and of course weeks 12, 13 and 14 being delayed will impact on weeks further down the chain . . . Prusa already know about these delays (they are able to tell me that week 14, showing as 7th of May, won't be shipped until the 18th of May) so why would they not publish an updated shipping schedule ?
Trying the get Prusa to answer why they won't update their shipping schedule or email customers to keep them up to date with the repeated delays is impossible.
To the question - why not update the shipping schedule table or email your customers I have got the following answers so far . . . '
