MINTEMP Bed Error is the most frustrating thing ever

Hi,

I'am starting to loose my mind with MinTEMP Bed ERROR on my MK3S.

Replacing wires did nothing, I lost kilos of PLA in that error for NOTHING.

What solution that actually work do you offer to fix that error?

At least to be able to resume prints like that !!! 24Hours of printing, break down at 19hours..... what a frustration !
The kind of thing that make you stop printing. Great experience !

I have two MK3 for 2 years now. BOTH do the same. I try to "work" with Prusa Printers (I mean, really working, thinking/trying to live with it) but I start to think it's impossible to work properly without losting a huge amount of money in unusefull prints.

I get this error on both my MK2.5s and Mk3s if I try to print a small object. I think the constant fan blowing on a small area causes the problem.

I fixed the problem by printing several small objects at the same time - this spreads the cooling area and the MinTemp Bed Error does not occur.

Hello,

Thank you for your answer. I replaced (again) wires by cutting from under the plate. It was the problem, wires were worn with time. I also print that piece on link.

It's been a month and not having a problem. We'll see with time.

Thank you

Hi Seb,

I replace the heatbed power wires with 16AWG flexible silicone wire, like used on Radio control car batteries and
I replace the Thermistor wires with 22AWG or 24AWG Flexible Silicone wire

this makes the wires far less likely to suffer fatigue through repeated bending...

regards Joan
