Marlin 1.1.9 Final the End Of 8-bit firmware updates.
So 1.1.9 final marlin for 8-bit as marlin say they will only working on 32bit onward. 1.1.9 is the final for all 8-bit boards.
what does this mean for prusa as we have 8bit.
Will Prusa make a 32bit upgrade board for the MK3? I really hope we get a 32bit upgrade board.
or will this be only for the next prusa only.
I would really like a 32bit update board for my Prusa MK3, how about you?

Prusa Researcch has their own firmware developers, so even if Marlin 1.1.9 is the final version and they just gonna concentrate on Marlin 2.0 now, that probably won't have that much of an impact on us.

They are running at near capacity of the current board so i consider it a good thing they will finally have to go 32 bit. Should open up alot of options for the next version.

8 bit controller is still a way to go for lower price range printers. Most likely there are no most-have features anymore they can put in the current cartesian printers. So they decided to move along and concentrate on next-gen printers.
It doesn't mean current 8-bit boards will die. I'm pretty sure we will see fan groups and forks of 1.9 marlin maintaining and still improving current firmware.
