Hi, is there an easy way to make the LCD to display the number of minutes left before the job is done?

It already supports that if the gcode file contains the information — PrusaSlicer includes it but if you are using a different slicer it might not be present. If the gcode file contains a total time then the printer displays the time remaining, otherwise it displays the elapsed time.

Can we ask the printer to send us a phone message when it is done printing?

The printer doesn't have any networking. You'll need to add a permanently attached computer (possibly a Raspberry Pi) with software (like Octoprint) that can do that sort of thing. (I don't know much about that myself, just that it's possible.)

You'll typically use both: PrusaSlicer to process your 3D models into gcode, then send that over wifi to Octoprint, which is running on a Raspberry Pi (or other spare computer), which directly controls the printer.

And there are plugins for Octoprint that can send your phone notifications, I primarily use the DiscordRemote plugin for that purpose.

Another option is to use Astroprint. You can buy the preconfigured box, hook it up via USB and then monitor the print jobs on the web or iPhone/Android. Absolutely nothing wrong with Octoprint, I just find Astroprint to be a better out of the box experience for folks who want to tinker less and design and print more.
