Kit build and first prints
Finished building my MK3S+ yesterday and today I did my calibration and the first prints. As I have read so much about 3D Benchy, I just had to print it from the default file on the SD card. I think it did pretty well from all I have read. The rear letters don't show up and there is an artifact at the left side. There is some droop at the windows and ports which is expected from all I have seen. On the assembly, I had only one issue which I have to contact Prusa about.
I am happy with my printer and as my partner on the assembly stated, seeing these prints after watching the headaches that we saw at work with their new printers, we are very happy.
I did print a few other things that I downloaded from Printables, with the supplied PLA and have zero complaints. Even got to find out what happens when the printer runs out of filament during a print process. So today I sliced two different projects on top of printing the supplied SD card files.
I may have to do some more minor adjustment on the bed and first level but I will let the printer run for some time.
