Is there away to disable print fan
Hi, Is there away to disable the print fan? I am printing PETG at 230 and 85 bed it holds those temperatures constantly until the print fan starts and drops the hot end temp to 218 spoiling the print. I have looked in Slicer but only have the option to have the fan on or in auto. any suggestions welcome.

RE: Is there away to disable print fan
The fan settings are there in the Filament profile settings (see the "Cooling" section).
But not having the fan cooling will reduce the print quality, especially for bridges. Before eliminating the fan try recalibrating the extruder PID at 230 (in the Configuration section of the LCD interface). Also you may want to try using a silicone sock (recalibrate the PID after putting the sock on...).

You can adjust the fan settings under Filament Settings->Cooling. Deselect the Keep fan always on option to only have it come on under specific circumstances detailed below. I have found that reducing the maximum fan speed to 50% while keeping the fan on gives me a good balance between finish and part strength with PETG.
If you are seeing a large temp swing when the part cooling fan kicks on, check your part cooling fan alignment to make sure it's not blowing on the heater block rather than below the fan. I recommend a silicone sock on the heater block to avoid big temp swings.
