Insert SD Card and when file selected, printer reboots and nothing happens
Hey All,
Was super excited to get our new Prusa, just opened it up yesterday. Got it to print a partial print but now all it does is reboot whenever we select a file on the SD card. We tried the purple SD card as well as a new SanDisk card and get the same result. Tried restarting a few times. No dice. It will calibrate and accept filament but won't print. Thanks in advance for your help it is a Prusa I3 MK3

Generating the g-code again solved it for me.

Hey thanks for the reply. I regenerated it plus tried a few of the free files that came with the Prusa card. Same deal. After restarting a number of times, I cam back to it and it wanted me to go through the calibration steps again. Bypassed it and tried to print. After 3 tries and a bunch of restarts still nothing. My friend told me it may be a bad PSU, anyone think thats it? I emailed Prusa this morning and am awaiting a response

Try a different SD card. Also my SD card slot does´nt allways accept the SD cards. A little wobble does the trick.

Ty for the response tried 3 cards now. Still only gets a reboot. Tried calibrating then it shut off again

Definitely contact support. Quickest might be to log into the Prusa online store, then select online chat. Obviously this isn't how it's supposed to function. They're very quick and responsive with support.

Thank you so much, yes I did the chat, waiting on a response. I now I am in LA and they are on a different time zone so I am guessing I'll wait a bit. Now it won't turn on at all so I am guessing is the PSU. Have heard that is easy to replace
