If your MK3S is making more noise then usual....
Just a nice quick pro tip, if your MK3S starts making a lot of unusual noise and vibration, do some maintenance!
- Check if your bolts need some tightening.
- Check your belt.
- LUBE!
I have had mine for about 2+ years and have printed an unmentionable amount of projects, recently I upgraded to a new hotend and did a upgrade to the bed brackets (I hated those metal loops) and after six months I noticed it making more noise... so I checked the bolts and the belt... no luck... then while watching it print and wondering why it was so loud it hit me... I wonder if these bearing need some grease. Sure enough after applying some good ol lithium grease it went from crazy loud to nearly silent again.
Hopes this helps someone 🙂

What upgrade did you use for the bed brackets? My i3 vibrates a lot on diagonal movements and I can't seem to figure out why.

For the Y axis (bed movement forward and back) I picked up the upgraded bearing clips: https://www.prusa3d.com/product/bearing-clips-mk3s/ from the mk3s+ I also ditched the linear bearings for a plastic linear bushing. For the X axis when I replaced the hotend with a E3D revo and swapped the bearings there as well for the plastic versions. I got my MK3S right at the start of 2020 and most of the bearings that came with it were defective and caused a lot of vibration. I find the plastic ones to be the quietest, if you keep them well lubricated lol.
