How to upload firmware?
How do you do that? There is no firmware update tool - for some reason that disappeared.
Now I have Slicer and try to "Flash" firmware from there - but that doesn't work as it always fails. Should the printer be ON for the firmware to flash? I've tried power on and power off and nothing happens - I just get the failed to flash message. The log says timeout.
I can't seem to figure out what software I should be using now either. There have been so many changes - Is there a list of what software I need for this Mk 2 printer?

Couple of basic things to check (don't get insulted if these sound too basic, but you never know 🙂
a) Is the printer connected via USB cable to your computer that's running Slicer?
b) The print must definitely be on.
c) Did you download the firmware file and point Slicer to it using the Browse button / "Firmware image" textbox?
RE: How to upload firmware?
and there are reports of both linux and mac users having problems with the flash tool

Do you have octoprint? I always update FW with it. Install "firmware updater" plugin, install avrdude on RPi (via putty) and you're good to go.
