How do I know which MK3 I have?

This is going to sound stupid, but I'm not exactly sure which MK3 variant I have.

I bought the MK3 kit in 2018, and I think performed only one upgrade on it.  I suspect that I now have an MK3s, but I'm not exactly sure because, well, I just don't remember these things.

My order history only shows that I bought the $20 MK3 to MK3s upgrade in 2019.  I don't see any other purchases in my order history, but I did have multiple accounts so I can't be sure.

Looking at my printer, how can I know for sure whether I have the MK3s or MK3s+?  I want to upgrade to the MK3.5, but apparently I need to upgrade to the 3s+ first.

It would be nice if there were a wiki page that showed the differences between all of the MK3 variants.

I'd ask on the MK3 forum. This is the MK3.5 forum. You'll probably get better results there.

RE:

I think the main difference is the bed sensor. The MK3S had one with 4 wires (PINDA), the MK3S+ has the SuperPINDA with 3 wires. There are some other minor differences in the attachment parts for the heat bed and the x-axis, and some parts in the extruder, I think, but those are more optional. The mainboard can distinguish between the two sensor types.

Mk3 has laser filament sensor(4 wires) + Basic Pinda (3 wires in 3 wire connector) + two tension screws in the Bondtech Idler door. part fan is normally vertical

Mk3s Has Infrared Filament sensor (3 wires, (usually Black PCB) Early mk3's had a Temperature Compensated Pinda (4 wires in a 5 contact connector) and a single tension screw in the Bondtech idler door. Part fan 45 degrees. Later mk3S had Supa Pinda, 3 wires in a 5 pin connector, and a red Filament Sensor PCB

Mk3s+ Has Infrared Filament sensor (3 wires, (RED PCB)  a single tension screw in the Bondtech idler door. Part fan 45 degrees with an extra locating blade in addition to the screw mounting. Later mk3S had Supa Pinda, 3 wires in a 5 pin connector.

You can have mk3s or mk3s+ to upgrade to mk3.5. Thats why the product page says mk3s/+ to mk3.5

Please help me out by downloading a model it's free and easy but really helps me out https://www.printables.com/@Hello_474427/models

Hmmm, the email says "Please note: If you want to upgrade from the base MK3 to MK3.5, you need to upgrade to the MK3S+ first."  I took this to mean that MK3s is insufficient.  Upgrading from base MK3 to MK3s is much cheaper than upgrading to MK3s+.

Mk3s+ Has Infrared Filament sensor (3 wires, (RED PCB)  a single tension screw in the Bondtech idler door.

I'm pretty sure I have the MK3s, and it has a single tension screw for the idler door.
