HELP! - Printer is printing way to small
Folks, looking for some advice - for some reason my MK3S is suddenly printing smaller by about 3mm ... I tried to print a small cover 77mmx147mm and it came out 74x144, i then downloaded the 20mm calibration cube from thingiverse and it cam out 17x17x17mm .... I then did a firmware / slicer update to bring me to 2.7.4 and 3.13.3 .. redid the print and its still happening.
Right now i have a cute orange and black paperweight 🙂
Anyone have any ideas??

Let's focus on the calibration cube: So
1: it is too small in all 3 directions X- Y - Z
1a: an error is the same in all directions, but it is not a linear thing (in that case the error would have been larger on the bigger object)
2. it happens to more (all?) prints
3. it is not an firmware issue , or slicer issue.
Because this is in all 3 dimensions, I do not think this is a mechanical issue. (Z-axis and Y-axis could be a belt issue, but for Z-axis this would not explain it).
I have no answer, but would search in the PrusaSlicer settings, if there is something (by accident) set to add 3mm to all.
2. As a test I would search an old G-code file, you probably have one on the SD-card, or could even download some g-code like this: https://www.printables.com/model/3162-prusa-plate/files
Also slice the stl version and print that too.
If both are equal, then you know the problem is not in Prusaslicer but in the printer.
If not equal, there is a setting problem in the Prusaslicer.

Yep, the cube is smaller in all directions. I'll dig out an old file and try that...watch this space

ok, downloaded the Gcode from the link below. when i open it up in slicer it tells me the dimensions should be 91.5x19.5.... when i print it ... it comes out 88x17 so this is definitely the printer! help!!!

just did a factory reset erasing all data and redid the wizard - no difference 🙁 I hope someone from Prusa see's this
