help please not sure?

not sure what is going on here.
I can check calibration with the prusa menu and it calibrates just fine,
but when I start a print it gets to the second point and fails to find the mesh spot for the bed.

my vocabulary may be wrong but does anyone know why this is happening?

no debris on the nozzle or the bed or under the build plat and the heatbed.

ive reset like 25 times same outcome every time.
any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: help please not sure?

That's odd to have this issue and still being able to calibrate!
Which firmware version do you have?

Re: help please not sure?

i had a similar issue happen to mine. the pinda wiring would go open when probing on the right side of the bed. to check for this, move z axis down near the bed so the light on the pinda probe turns off (light should be off when close to the bed, on when far away). move the x axis manually side to side and see if the light goes on or off just when moving the x axis. (you might have to disable the steppers). i had to run new wires from the pinda probe to the mainboard connector. hope it helps.

Re: help please not sure?

Mine had a similar issue when i first calibrated it. It turned out to be a loose connection from the PINDA wiring to the mainboard, the connector was barely hanging onto the pins, simply seating it fully fixed my issue. It must have been knocked loose when i was closing up the mainboard cover.

the one that came with it.
I don't know how to put a new flash of firmware on it.

run new wires? so you cut the ones from the probe and added new or did you just get a new probe?
if so where prusa doesn't sell any replacement parts at all. and I have had horrible luck with their customer service at times.

Prusa offers lots of parts to customers who log into the e-shop website

for instance the Pinda shows 'In Stock' Today...

but you must be logged in.

if you are a mk3 customer and you can't see the Mk3 spares when logged in, have a word with Chat, show them your order number and they wil sort acess

I don't know how to put a new flash of firmware on it.

Here is a guide for it: https://manual.prusa3d.com/Guide/Upgrading+the+firmware+v1.4/66?lang=en
I would start with that, with a factory reset (long press of the knob during startup to get the factory menu) before and after the upgrade.

Re: help please not sure?

Mine passed calibration but triggered the same warning at the beginning of a print. Had to reset the pinda height.

yes, i was chatting with support and ended up rewiring it as there were no pinda probes available at the time.
