Welcome to the club. You've just learned how important bed cleanliness and proper bed cleaning practices are.

Have a search around here for how to deal with "blobs of doom", there are many excellent posts on the topic on what to do to recover from it.

You have to soften that blob.

Invest in a decent heat gun and have at it. As it softens, drag it down. Be extremely careful with the thermistor wires.

If it were me, I would order a spare set now.

Some folks have made a soldering iron work. Messy job however you do it.

Your blob has not actually damaged anything - yet. You have a perfectly good hot end hiding under that mess.

You paid for an expensive print surface that, when properly maintained, should not need crap like hairspray, glue, or other folklore to work well for standard materials like PLA and PETG. Many of those things are holdovers or habits from other bed materials like glass. (PETG actually needs something like windex as a release agent on the smooth sheet to prevent it sticking too well).

More exotic materials have different requirements, but that's not the norm for most folks.

Turning on your hot end will loosen the blob attachment to the hot end.

It will do nothing to the death grip on your thermistor wires. Pull on it - and your wires will break.

Cutting it with a soldering iron might help - but I still prefer a heat gun, working in slowly from the outside.
