Hello everyone!
I just got a i3 MK3S+ kit for Christmas and I have about 60 million questions about using it. But not wanting to be one of those people that is willing to let others do all the work for them, I would like to to know if there are any good books for my printer and some good sources/books to learn g code. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know of any good books, however our very own Bobstro has a great compilation of his experiences with printing, hes fairly articulate and tends to point folks in the right direction for subjects such as learning G-code which in this case will be specific to Prusa machines as it has its own fork of Marlin.
My suggestion is going to be that you start by simply learning how to print, and work your way through the problem's that you will certainly see as you gain experience with 3d printing, keeping g-code ever present but on the back burner until your past the basics of understanding the machine and the materials. There's a lot to know.
This forum has a wealth of knowledge and is here for you, and I would encourage you to ask questions as needed without feeling as though you are burdening others.

Thank you for your reply. All the books I can fine online refer to g code on CNC machines. I have found several U-Tube videos that talk about 3D printers also. I have been printing (a lot). This first reel of PLA material that they sent with the kit is about 25% gone already. I have several questions I want to ask but a 'Hello All' thread is not the correct one for questions. So I'll start another thread with my first question tomorrow. Once again (dare I call you 'Mr. Cheese') that you for the feedback.

I do not do books... dyslexia is a bit of a disadvantage, but Online you can change the viewing parameters and get a better experience...

Thank you for your reply. I understand dyslexia, my youngest son (now in his early 40's) has Hersaids (not sure of spelling). He can't tell the difference between b's and d's, S's and 5's, lower case q's and g's. He has to look at a sentence and piece it together to figure out the words he can't make out. As a result he reads on a 6 grader level, however, he can do math on a college level (unless he has a word problem...).

Sorry David, I got side tracked by the time I got to the bottom of the page. if your dead set on learning g-code for your printer at this time the youtube videos are a good place to start.

these should get you started, I would encourage you to take Joan's advice and take a good long look at Slicer, it has many different places to insert g-codes to be used.
