First layer looks a little odd lately

Hello!

I recently decided to re-run both the temperature calibration and the first layer calibration as I moved the printer into an enclosure and switched out the nozzle for an E3D Nozzle X. My results for the first layer calibration seem fine (`-0.880mm`), but upon printing the first layer of the Prusa logo, I'm unsure if this is a good result or not.

It looks a little odd to me. Rough around the edges. Is the nozzle too high? Not enough pressure?

I'm seeing less-than-stellar bed adhesion there too.

After moving a printer, you need to run the z-calibration.

Here is a movie how to do first layer calibration, you are to high, there are gabs in your first layer,  + possible bed is not clean.

Clean bed with dish soap, and make first layer calibration good, then it should work again.

And E3D Nozzle X, possible you need to print hotter, search the forum for how much more heat the nozzle needs.

Thanks, that video helped. The nozzle was too high, as you said. I printed the calibration test from that video, adjusting the live Z as it went: The sweet spot for me appears to be -1.0mm. That calibration print is far better than the calibration test that's built into the firmware!

Actually, it got a little better at -1.020...

Might re-align the P.I.N.D.A probe at some point to get that value closer to zero, but it's fine for now.

You don’t want the live z zero, as that would mean the pinda probe is at the same height as the nozzle, which would mean to would be hitting the print. Around -800 to -1200 is perfectly fine as that’s around .8-1.2mm up. I’d say you are nicely in the middle spot.
