Finally got my kit put together, one issue
So got it put together, it took me longer than im going to admit to. Having never used/built a 3dprinter before i found it rather challenging.
Issue is with the LCD screen. See picture attached.
Is that much of an issue? i was able to still finish calibration, and its printing a benchy right now when i took that pic. Any reason to fix the defective screen right away or can i put it off until i take printer offline for first round of upgrades?

Check to make sure none of your screen cables are bent or kinked. Check to make sure thst they're not zip tied too tight to the frame.

I was pretty careful with the wiring, i did however have to bend the cabled a bit to run them inside the aluminum extrusion as per the instructions for the first part of the LCD cable routing..

Yeah, that was a big pain in the but for me.

I dont think its that bad, yet. Lol.
This is my first print attached below just came off the printer. And while it does have a bit of stringing, and you can see small sings of the "inconstant extrusion" as greatly discussed in this forums if you look from below with a flashlight at the right angle, i think for a first 3dprint ever, on a printer i built myself with zero 3dprinting experience, its alright.

That is not too bad, but my £140 kit one was better.

Colin,
I completely sympathize with you. I understand how that feels. But adults don't act like children and post like you are.
I, and everyone here, would love to help you figure out whats up and what can be done.
Others may have had the same issues you have and overcome them.
post up what is going on and lets see if we can help.
if you don't and instead just post rando negative comments in various threads then no matter how much you paid, or how entitled you feel, you are trolling.

The is a contrast adjustment on the LCD board, need very little screw driver to turn it, it's located on the side where the flat cables plug in and close to the top of the SD Card. you can try it and see if it helps. If not contact tech support chat.
