Fan shroud
I broke the fan shroud during assembly. Can I continue to build and print a new one later?
RE: Fan shroud
How bad is it? Since it is made from ASA and not PETG like the rest of the printed parts, you may be able to glue it back together with ABS cement or even using some acetone. Strictly speaking, since ASA doesn't need much if any part cooling (unenclosed), you can print a new one without the shroud, but if you are new to printing it may be better if you can glue it back together or fit a replacement, just to get you going with easier materials until you figure out what's what.
RE: Fan shroud
Thanks! I was able to get it together.
New printer - are you a new user?
If so, trying to get off the ground with ASA is going to be ... testing. Any printing without a fan shroud is difficult.
Contact Prusa Support and get a new part.
When you are up and running you can print a spare ready for future trouble.

Cheerio,
RE: Fan shroud
I would suggest printing one from a higher temperature filament than ASA/ABS.
After I did a long run of ABS prints a couple of years ago, my fan shroud started to deform and droop.
I ended up printing a remixed one using PC Blend and it has not drooped since.
