Failed print video. Can stringing be the main cause?

If you have a look at the octolapse video of my failed 5h print do you think that stringing could be the main cause? Adhesion is fine, never have issues with it.

Before this fail I successfuly printed almost identical part (mirrored). It printed fine but I got hell a lot of burned stuff all over the print and the board. It's easy to remove, but there is a lot of it.

ps: it's a stegosaurus hip part https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:600093

No I don't think that stringing could cause this.
For me, this is simply a bad adhesion, maybe your bed wasn't clean enough.

then how would you explain those burned drops of filament? is it normal have them all over the print?
ps: the level of adhesion I have is - during (or right after) printing when bed is still warm I am not able to tear the print from the bed by hand... so I think it's good

The print in the video moved off to the left while it was printing. This looks like adhesion to me. As for drops of filament, check to make sure you are not leaking from above the heat block. This can happen if the nozzle is not well seated to the heat break.

yes, it definitely got moved, I know that. What I meant is perhaps appearance of this burned filament blobs all over print is signaling the cause... Cuz the printed part got dragged away by the nozzle stuck in one of the blobs.
Thanks for the suggestion, i'll have a look at the heat block and get back to you

alright, so I figured out what was causing the issue!

The problem was in filament leakage between heat block and heat sink, it was a small one, but it was enough...

So to conclude, even the worst stringing cannot result in that much drops of burnt filament.

How exactly did you fix this? How were you able to remove the heatblock leaving the Heater/Thermistor cables still attached.

I am quite familiar with the E3D as I had one on my Printrbot, but I can't remember for the life of me how you tighten the block against the heartbreak, so am not sure how you do it on the Prusa..

Any chance you could provide a little more info as it might help someone in the future if they discover this post?

Yeah, sure, here is the way for smb to do it:

1) Go check this wonderful video about hotends and the main issue

2) unscrewing and hotend removal done as per standard Prusa guide
https://manual.prusa3d.com/Guide/How+to+change+a+PTFE+tube+-+Original+Prusa+i3+MK3-MK2.5/761?lang=en )

3) then perform manipulations on heated up hotend.
great video with a guide
