Double spool holder
Hi! New Mk3s owner here--looking forward to being a part of this community. While i wait for the arrival of the mk3s, trying to plan out my workstation with best practices in mind. For our veteran users, is the double spool holder that comes with Prusas stable enough to not cause problems while printing or would decoupling the filament spools from the printer be the preferred route. And if so, what are some ideas. No MMU here.
Thanks!

Personally, I wouldn't load the narrow frame of the MK3 with heavy filament coils, but rather mount them externally. You can find enough ideas for this on thingiverse.com https://www.thingiverse.com/search?q=spoolholder&type=things&sort=relevant&page=1
Statt zu klagen, dass wir nicht alles haben, was wir wollen, sollten wir lieber dankbar sein, dass wir nicht alles bekommen, was wir verdienen.

RE: Double spool holder
I have never seen any issues from using the default spool holder.

RE: Double spool holder
I haven´t had any problems with the prusa spoolholder. But wanted it of the frame anyway.
Now I use the prusa holder on a printed mount. https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/28572
See the comments from that print to see what parts I used.
