Crash detect autoresumes
Hi,
I am not sure I understand how crash detect is supposed to work.
I had a crash due to badly setup sequential printing. The crash was detected correctly, but the print resumed instead of homing to a safe position. Luckily I was present and could abort the print, otherwise it would have been a big mess.
Shouldn't the printer stop and ask me what to do?

Hi Berthold.
crash detection senses excess motor current and tries to correct.... depending upon which firmware you are running, the sequence of events can differ.
I believe it now re tries a number of times, then asks for user input
