chasing live-Z Adjustment forever downward
Lately things are in an odd state, where each time I do a print, it seems that I must decrease the live z adjustment (i.e. make it more negative) by about 0.3mm. I started with a live-z adjustment of about -0.7mm, and now I'm at -3.2mm. Not sure what to make of this. The PINDA is locked down and not moving. Anyone else experienced this? Does it mean that my PINDA is failing or something?
Re: chasing live-Z Adjustment forever downward
Reset your Live Z and then let the machine fully cool (bed and nozzle around 30º). If you always let your machine cool off before starting another print you shouldn't have any problems with your Live Z needing to be adjusted.

Thanks! I'll give that a try. I just now purchased an external fan to hopefully shorten the cooli down time.

Did you do a calibrate first layer over and over again? I think that is a bug in that routine. You should do it only ONE time. After that use "live adjust z" during ordinary prints for further corrections
