Can we make it faster for the PEI sheet to heat up?

Hi, the PEI sheet takes longer than the extruder to reach the target temperature. As I recall it is worse during the Winter. Is there any safe way to make it heats up faster? I am kind of impatient to wait for it to reach target temperature to start the print.

Try it out, the worst is you will ruin a sheet and print bed.

I typically begin by heating the bed ahead of the hot end. The PSU can only supply so much power so once the bed is within 15-20 degrees of target temp, I’ll start the print and the hot end will reach print temp at roughly the same time as the bed.

Maybe not technically faster but it feels like it, doing it this way…

How about putting a heater in the room to get the room temperature to a more comfortable level?

How long (as in minutes?) is it taking for yours to come up to temperature?

My experience is that the Prusa is quicker from button-push to start of print than others such as the Taz and the Ultimaker.
