BUG REPORT: Firmware loses settings after PAUSE
Firmware BUG REPORT:
During my latest print I have been pausing frequently to correct minor part support issues.
On a couple of occasions when RESUMEing, the printer would indicate it was heating the hotend but the setpoint was 0c. I went to the PREHEAT menu and manually started it; after the hotend reached the preheat setting, the printer would resume printing ... whew! This happened a few times.
On another pause when I resumed the print I noticed some sagging in places that hadn't been sagging, and discovered the filament fan was OFF. I manually turned it back ON at 100%. This happened only once.
This was a LONG print: 83 hours. Many pauses, some lasting 30 minutes to allow adhesive to dry (Elmer's Glue supports for the supports that had detached).
Machine is a week or two so old; Firmware was updated several days ago. The .gcode file is about 58M (not the largest file I've used).
Just an FYI ...
Re: BUG REPORT: Firmware loses settings after PAUSE
I spotted this on one of my first prints and reported it here
https://shop.prusa3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=24058&p=104504#p104504
And its still the same a few firmware releases on.. Its clearly a known issue, but there seems to be little interesting in fixing it, which is odd, as pause is such a useful feature.

Has a ticket been opened on GitHub?
I hear that's the place to post to get Prusa to pay attention/address it.
That's "MISTER Old Fart" to you!
