Blobs of Filament

Hello! I am having some trouble with blobs of filament in the waste block. First layers are great. Then, it seems, when there is a change of filament blobs and stringing happen. See pic. The extruder hits the blob then it jumps and screws up the placement of the next layers. Any thoughts on why this might be? The temperature seems stable. Running normal old PLA at starting temp of 215 and printing further at 205. I don't think it is the GCODE. Any thoughts are appreciated. Could it be bad PLA? Honestly, I have never had any issues with my MK3. This is just odd.

EDIT - A little update - is seems to do the blob when switching from filament 2 to 1 but not 1 to 2. Could it be the GCODE? A huge over extrude in the file? I don't know that much about GCODE so any expert insight would be appreciated!

Re: Blobs of Filament

Your Z level is far too high so you have to lower it. The filament string should be slightly flattened, not round.
Your first layer should be even and fine without any gaps.

Re: Blobs of Filament

Turned out that the MMU filament length needed recalibration.
