Best way to go about disassembly and storage of MK3S?

Hello!

I'm moving soon, and regrettably I will not have the space for a 3D printer any longer. I have a Mk3s that was delivered unassembled, so unfortunately I do not have a convenient box to put the entire printer in fully assembled. I'll have to do some disassembly and packing, but I don't know where to start or how to go at it. I do have the original box.

Has anyone done this before and can share some insight? I'm not sure how to ensure that the printer survives the move (5 hour drive away, it can't be seated in the car this time around 😕) and can be in storage for a year or two before I find a bigger apartment and can assemble it again. I suppose a start is detaching the vertical gantry and making sure that everything is bubblewrapped up nicely. I'd love to avoid a full teardown and disassembly, but just enough to keep it in one piece without damaging anything vital.

Thank you very much for any insight!

Having the assembled the MK3s+ kit, for simple packing, I would remove the Einsy and take the Y axis apart and leave the rest assembled.  Pieces might fit in the gaps in the frame.  Some bubble wrap for protections.

If you are not going to be 3D printing, you may want to sell the printer or donate it to a club or school.
