Anyone out there using the MMU2S with the bondtech kit?
Any problems?
I am building an MMU2S frankenstein ( chinese hardware, but ordered control unit + motors + FINDA sensor from Prusa ) Cost me $100 for the parts from Prusa, and $200 for the rest. Basically same price but i get it in 2 weeks instead of " INSERT LEAD TIME HERE"
Does the MMU2S word with the bondtech? I did the MK3S box add on upgrade with the new Prusa filament sensor ( also from China arrived in 5 days ).
So is that the only thing I need to use the MMU2S ? Just that the filament sensor is the new one? Or is there something else I need?
Any suggestions would be great!
I will post my experience building my frankenstein MMU2s with Chinese-Czech parts. I am very optimistic as i will only use the bolts and hardware from chinese kit. I ordered high end SKF bearings and Misumi custom rods also.
I am printing the MMU2S parts from polycarbonate, so far no print fails using standard slicer P-carb settings and slower print speeds.

I have been running the MMU2s with the Bondtech before the "S" was out.... it runs fine. I did make a mount for the IR sensor of the "S" kit with MMU.... that can be found at: https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-89362
