AnyBody use a Bondtech BMG-M and Mosquito?

I bought a BMG-M dirt cheap.  Anyone use one with a mosquito with their MK3?

Um - this is rather funny.  There's been like 20 posts a day to the Mosquito thread...

Have you seen Chris Warcocki's video? Don't use it myself, but have watched his videos on the Bondtech extruder upgrade.

I installed one a week ago and I'm happy with how this turned out. The Mosquito hotend is working excellent, a bit fragile so take care when sliding it into the Bondtech extruder body.

What files did you use to encorporate the BMG-M?

@charles-h13

What exactly do you mean by that? I ordered the kit (Bondtech extruder kit for Mosquito hotend, Mosquito hotend, Slice engineering heater and thermistor cartridge) on 3djake.nl. I downloaed the parts needed for mounting the extruder to the x-axis  from the bondtech website, I needed the parts for the i3 Mk3S.

@mvalkier

Which firmware are you using?

I bought that kit too with a Mosquito and I get massive underextrusions....

Tried the one provided by Bondtech.

Very old thread, but I just completed this upgrade, and I too am experiencing massive underextrusions.  What did you do to resolve?

RE:

My extruder is a Bondtech LGX instead of your BMG-M, but I suspect that the problem is the same as mine. I experienced massive underextrusion because I missed the last step of the upgrade procedure. Quoting Bondetch's instructions :

STEP 6

After flashing the Bondtech firmware, perform a Factory Reset on your printer and choose ALL DATA to erase old values saved to the EEPROM.

If you fail to do so, you will experience under-extrusion.
