Any Alternatives To Prusa Orange PETG filament 1kg?
Hi All
Just wondering if there is any other brand of PETG that can be used for printing the Orange parts of the printer that is a good colour match to the original.
Has anybody tried different brands as you can never quite tell from a picture online.
Only asking as the Prusa Orange PETG filament is currenty out of stock and I dont fancy having to pay extra for the Prusament PETG Prusa Orange.
Any advice or ideas would be great.

3DXTech has an orange PETG that is a great match. The stuff is a bit pricey though, and you'll want to use glue stick or other release agent as it prints at 270C.
If you just want decorative parts, AIO Robotics orange PLA is a close color match.

If you are looking for what Prusa sells as "Prusa PETG", that is actually re-branded Filament PM "orange 2019". Here is their product page:

As of this writing they claim to have 113 spools in stock and is currently on a 15% sale (I don't know how long the sale will last).
Filament PM has a US warehouse that they can ship from to avoid shipping across the "pond", but I just checked and the US warehouse doesn't seem to stock the "orange 2018" color in PETG. If you want to check the US warehouse to compare prices and shipping costs, here is the link: https://shop.filamentpm.com/
I, personally, haven't compared the prices. But, I've heard some people claim that there isn't that much of a difference, but that was soon after they opened the US warehouse. Prices may vary over time.

I love the filament but not the $27 shipping.
